Oasis episode of Hot Press Classics out now - feat. Paul Weller
Celebrating the newest issue of Hot Press and its legendary 14-pager on Oasis, Hot Press Classics is back with an episode focusing on the band's two classic albums - 1994's Definitely Maybe and 1995's (What's The Story) Morning Glory?
In this episode, Paul Nolan and Stuart Clark discuss Oasis' long standing relationship with Hot Press, their upcoming reunion shows in Croke Park, and the brothers' Irish origins.
Elsewhere, the duo examines the Gallaghers' working class working class roots, their intense and passionate love for music and the brothers' complex but deep family relationship.
Additionally, Nolan and Clark talk about Oasis' legendary image and their iconic interviews over the years, their unwavering humour and their incredible international success.
The duo also speak of their relationship with U2 and Bono, their old rivalry with Blur, and the brothers' subsequent solo careers.
To round-up the podcast, Paul Nolan brings back an interview with long time Oasis collaborator Paul Weller from 2024, where the legendary musician discusses his work and friendship with the band, his guest-appearances with Noel Gallagher, and their impromptu one-off super group Smoking Mojo Filters with Paul McCartney.
Hear about this and more in the next episode of Hot Press Classics, produced by Paul Nolan and edited by Flo Laurent.
