Beck episode of Hot Press Classics out now

Hot Press Classics is back for a new episode, focusing on Beck’s genre-busting 1996 classic, Odelay.

In the new installment, Paul Nolan is joined by Kilian Murphy, where they discuss the cultural significance of Beck following the release of the record, his widespread appeal in 90s, and the brilliance of his showmanship.

They also explore his importance in the MTV era, particularly with the hit single 'Loser',  his artistic yet working class upbringing, and his huge and sudden rise to fame.

The duo also chat about the artistic completeness of Beck's career, his genre-bursting songwriting, and his lesser-known, small label records.
