CMAT nominated as Best International Artist for BRITs 2026
The Dunboyne singer-songwriter released her 3rd studio album Euro-Country this past August.
CMAT has been nominated for Best International Artist for the 2026 BRIT awards.
The nominees were announced last night, with artists such as Bad Bunny, ROSALÍA, Doechii, sombr, Chappell Roan, Sabrina Carpenter and Taylor Swift, also appearing in her category.
"I will need to think of another new and unique part of my body to flash on live television," said the singer on social media. "So grateful to be honoured for this again, and I will be honoured to lose to yet another very deserving winner."
CMAT released her latest album, Euro-Country, this past August, scoring her additional nominations such as the Mercury Prize Album of The Year and the RTÉ Music Choice Prize. The Dunboyne singer-songwriter also went viral on social media last year, for tracks such as 'Take A Sexy Picture Of Me' and 'Euro-Country'.
Olivia Dean and Lola Young have scored the most amount of nominations for this year's BRITs, with the two English artists being nominated for five awards each.
The awards ceremony will take place on Saturday, February 28.
