Beabadoobee releases 'All I Did Was Dream of You (feat. The Marías)'
Most recently, the English singer-songwriter featured on the newly-released HELP(2) War Child benefit album, performing a cover of Elliot Smith's 'Say Yes'.
Beabadoobee has released her new single 'All I Did Was Dream of You' featuring The Marías.
Along with the track, the Filipino-English musician has released an accompanying music video, shot on location in Lithuania and directed by her partner, cinematographer Jake Erland. The two have collaborated previously, with Erland also creating the video for the 2023 earworm 'Glue Song', filmed in the Philippines.
'All I Did Was Dream of You' comes as the first release from Beabadoobee since This Is How Tomorrow Moves in 2024, which brought popular tracks such 'Beaches' and 'Take A Bite'.
The new track is the first collaboration between the singer and The Marías, with the American alt-pop band receiving a Grammy nomination for their newest album Submarine last year. The band have previously collaborated with the likes of Selena Gomez and Bad Bunny.
"Thank you to The Marías for joining me on this song," wrote Beabadoobee promoting the new single. "Happy we could get this one out before my album. I have missed this, i’ve missed you and this year is going to be unreal!"
A new album from the singer has yet to be announced, however she recently featured on the newly-released HELP (2) War Child benefit album, covering Elliott Smith's 'Say Yes'.
