Summer of Music: Stendhal Festival
With the combination of the Live Performance Support Scheme and the success of the Government's test gigs at the Iveagh Gardens and the Royal Hospital Kilmainham, we are on the verge of a huge explosion of music activity. As part of our Summer of Music 2021 special feature, we're taking a look at some of the most eagerly anticipated events of the summer...
Stendhal Festival
Where: Ballymully Cottage Farm, Limavady, Co. Derry
When: August 12th-14th
Who: Ash, Ryan McMullan, And So I Watch You From Afar, Kíla, David Keenan, Paddy Casey, Duke Special, Maka B, Jealous Of The Birds, Dea Matrona, Mary Coughlan and more...
What: Good news, everyone! Stendhal in August is definitely going ahead – following the first weekend of the festival, which took place earlier this month. Northern Ireland’s first music festival in almost two years was a total buzz! Social distancing measures will be in place, but if you’re in the North – or anywhere near it – this one is not to be missed. There’s comedy, art, incredible food, music from some of Ireland’s most enthralling up-and-coming talents, and fun for the whole family.
Make sure to: Check out the Limavady Longline Surf School, where accommodating instructors will help you catch that wave!
Tickets: Adult and family tickets from £40-90, and child tickets from £15-30; campervan tickets are £40, all including VAT via stendhalfestival.com
