The Stunning announce additional Dublin show

The Stunning have announced an additional date at Dublin's 3Olympia Theatre for November 26, after selling out their previously announced November 20 show.

Special guests are yet to be confirmed.

Formed in 1987 by brothers Steve and Joe Wall, the Galway rock band debuted in 1990 with their album Paradise in the Picturehouse, which reached No. 1 in the charts and stayed there for five weeks.

This was followed by a second No. 1 album Once Around the World in 1992, which featured songs such as 'Everything That Rises', 'Romeo’s on Fire', 'Heads Are Gonna Roll', 'Half Past Two' and their breakout hit 'Brewing Up a Storm'.

After re-forming in 2003, the band resumed touring, culminating with their 30,000 capacity homecoming show in Galway city in 2012.

The Stunning are enjoying international recognition with their track 'Brewing Up a Storm', after it appeared in the Netflix series House of Guinness. 36 years after its release, it surged to No. 5 on the Shazam UK Viral Chart and reached No. 15 in its UK Top 200 chart.

Their latest release 'Stand Up in This Wicked World' marked their first project in eight years. The video dedicated to the people of Palestine and "all victims of the zionist colonial project" was shared by Paloma Faith and Game of Thrones star Liam Cunningham on social media.

They are set to perform at Electric Picnic for the first time in 18 years, on August 29.

Tickets go on sale for their additional Dublin date this Friday at 10am (€42.50 including fees) and can be purchased here.
