Having got his driver’s licence last week, Paul Nolan breaks down Olivia Rodrigo’s 2021 debut Sour & Dua Lipa’s self-titled debut from 2017. Plus he talks to St. Vincent - who has collaborated with both artists - about her brilliant 2021 album Daddy’s Home.

Ahead of their performances in Dublin this June, Dua Lipa and Olivia Rodrigo are the stars of Hot Press Classics' special summer episode.

In this new episode, Paul Nolan examines Olivia Rodrigo's 2021 debut album Sour, her massive and immediate single with the single 'Driver's License', the grunge and garage rock influences of the record, as well as her incredible success in Ireland.

Elsewhere, Nolan also explores Dua Lipa's 2017 debut self-titled album's delightful directness and straight-forwardness, the singer's incredible blue melodic flair and her iconic 2019 Grammy's collaborative performance with St. Vincent of 'Masseduction' and 'One Kiss'

To wrap up the episode, Nolan brings back an interview with St. Vincent, collaborator of both Rodrigo and Dua Lipa, where she speaks about her brilliant 2021 album Daddy's Home.
