Netflix has unveiled the trailer for the fifth and final season of Stranger Things.
The Emmy Award-winning sci-fi horror drama series was created by the Duffer Brothers, premiering on Netflix in 2016 and has since become one of the platform’s most popular original shows. and since
This season will pick up in the aftermath of the season 4 finale.
“The fall of 1987. Hawkins is scarred by the opening of the Rifts, and our heroes are united by a single goal: find and kill Vecna. But he has vanished - his whereabouts and plans unknown. Complicating their mission, the government has placed the town under military quarantine and intensified its hunt for Eleven, forcing her back into hiding," reads the logline.
The latest trailer offers ominous glimpses of what’s to come, with the return of familiar faces including Winona Ryder (Joyce Byers), David Harbour (Jim Hopper), Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven), and Joe Keery (Steve Harrington).
Also reappearing in the season is Irish actress Amybeth McNulty. Born in Milford, Donegal, McNulty is known for her role in the Netflix drama series Anne with an E, and reprises her role as Vickie in this season of Stranger Things.
The release dates for Stranger Things Season 5 on Netflix Ireland have been broken up into three volumes:
Volume 1 - November 26, 2025 1:00 a.m. GMT
Volume 2 - December 25, 2025 1:00 a.m. GMT
Volume 3 - December 31, 2025 1:00 a.m. GMT
