Hot for 2020 Film/TV Talent: Amybeth McNulty
Roe McDermott looks at the Irish film and TV talent set for a huge 2020.
A quiet sensation, Amybeth McNulty’s love of performing emerged early in life. She appeared in ballet and drama performances in An Grianan Theatre in her hometown of Letterkenny, and played small parts in RTÉ drama Clean Break and Sky comedy series Agatha Raisin. Over the past few years, McNulty has been amassing critical acclaim and a devoted fanbase thanks to her role in the series Anne With An E, an adaptation of Lucy Maud Montgomery’s Anne Of Green Gables. Now streaming on Netflix, the third and final season showcases McNulty’s talents to stunning effect, and will no doubt prove a springboard for further exciting projects.
