WATCH: Jarvis Cocker with The Strokes
If Brian May and Gerard Way wasn't enough, we've footage of another amazing collaboration
Ever fancied seeing The Strokes cover The Cars' 'Just What I Needed' with a certain Mr. Jarvis Cocker taking up vocal duties? We hadn't given it much thought before either, but we're glad it went down at the Reading Festival last week. Footage has just emerged of everyone's favourite Britpop icon (sorry Damon, Liam) taking to the stage with The Strokes during the New York band's headline slot at Reading on Friday night.
Julian Casablancas' introduction for the Pulp mainman: "We love and respect them, give it up for Pulp. And here he is, the Jarv, please welcome Mr Jarvis Cocker."
