Madonna to be guest on Graham Norton’s world exclusive show

Madonna will be the guest on Graham Norton’s world exclusive show. The show will be recorded at KOKO Camden, a venue that hosted Madonna’s first-ever UK show in 1983.

The broadcast will be on BBC One on Friday, June 26 at 10:40 am and on BBC Radio 2 a day later at 6 pm. The programme will then also be available on the BBC iPlayer.

Madonna will look back at her beginnings, her relationship to the UK and her upcoming projects.

“As a lifelong fan it is always a thrill to interview Madonna, but to meet her on the dance floor where she first performed in London over thirty years ago felt incredibly special”, says Graham.

“ She remains a legendary pop icon who is still doing what she does best - getting people up to dance!”

The programme will come a week before the release of Madonna’s fifteenth studio album Confessions II on July 3. The record acts as a sequel to her 2005 album Confessions on a Dance Floor.

Last week, Madonna did a pop-up surprise show in Times Square, New York, in cooperation with the dating app Grindr.
