Niall Horan lands fourth Irish No. 1 album with Dinner Party
It's his fourth record in a row to do so
Niall Horan has landed an Irish No. 1 album with Dinner Party. This marks his fourth consecutive record to do so.
Dinner Party is also Horan’s fastest-selling album to date and the biggest-selling physical album by an Irish artist so far this year.
“Dinner Party is a thank you to the past and a hello to the present, covering the big life events and the small, sometimes messy, in-between moments that actually make them up,” says Horan.
“Much of the album explores that tug of war between falling in love while being terrified of losing them and how that risk is actually the best part. There's love, intimacy, fear, loss, hope, dreams—all wrapped together across it.”
Dinner Party is Horan’s fourth solo studio album since the breakup of One Direction. On the album, he discusses a range of topics, including the death of his former bandmate Liam Payne.
Hot Press reviewed Dinner Party, describing it as: “Sonically, Dinner Party sits in the territory of polished soft-rock, sunlit indie-pop and 1970s singer-songwriter warmth.”
The singer is set to go on a European tour this autumn, including four shows at Dublin’s 3Arena on November 9, 10, 12 and 13.
