Muireann Bradley tops the UK's Official Jazz & Blues Albums Chart with Rose Dogs & Blackwood Pew

Muireann Bradley's EP Rose Dogs & Blackwood Pew is at Number 1 on the UK's Jazz & Blues Albums Chart. At 19, she is the youngest female artist to top this chart since Katie Melua in 2004.

The EP, which came out on October 23, is beating Joanne Shaw Taylor's The Trouble With Love and Sade's The Best Of, which are in spots 2 and 3 respectively.

It is at Number 6 on the Record Store Chart, and Number 61 on the all-genres Official Albums Chart.

The extended play is a combination set, comprising Bradley's 2025 release Rose Dogs and her new collection Blackwood Pew.

Though most of her material consists of covers of country blues and ragtime songs, Blackwood Pew includes three original songs: 'Not Going Back', 'Clementine', and 'Dancing On My Grave'.

Bradley had her breakthrough with a performance on Jools Holland's Annual Hootenanny in 2023, after releasing her debut album that year. She will be touring Ireland in February, coming to Thurles, Galway, Limerick, Cork, Dublin and Belfast.
