Scorpions announce Dublin show
Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 am.
German rock band Scorpions have announced a show at Dublin's 3Arena on June 30, 2027, as part of their world tour next year.
The run will stretch across three continents throughout 2027, visiting approximately three dozen cities. Swedish rock band Europe will join the band as special guests for several of the dates, including the Dublin performance.
The news comes after the band unexpectedly postponed all remaining 2026 concert dates in September due to health concerns, shifting their slate into the new year.
Scorpions are celebrating more than 60 years of rock history with multi-media releases including a recently-teased film, Wind of Change, which chronicles the formation of the band leading up to the creation of their landmark 1990 song 'Wind of Change'.
They also partnered with Z2 Comics to release Scorpions: Hurricane, a 96-page graphic novel heavily inspired by the sci-fi and outer-space aesthetics of their 'Rock You Like a Hurricane' music video.
Meanwhile, the band recently dropped a Dolby Atmos 2026 remix of their debut 1972 classic album Lonesome Crow, available on transparent vinyl and digital formats.
Scorpions have sold more than 120 million records and performed on every continent, including at the inaugural Rock in Rio festival, which drew 1.3 million spectators. They were also the first and only German band to sell out New York's Madison Square Garden three times in a row.
Founded by Rudolf Schenker in 1965, the group has recorded over two dozen studio and live albums, earning a total of 58 platinum and 67 gold records worldwide.
They currently consist of lead vocalist Klaus Meine, guitarists Rudolf Schenker and Matthias Jabs, bassist Paweł Mąciwoda and drummer Mikkey Dee.
Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 am here.
