Muireann Bradley announces tour of Ireland, UK and Europe for 2027
Bradley's EP Blackwood Pew came out on October 23, named after the material of her guitar, which was once a church pew.
Muireann Bradley has announced details of her Blackwood Pew Tour next year, with dates in Thurles, Galway, Limerick, Cork, Dublin and Belfast. The tour also covers the UK as well as Brussels, Utrecht, Nyon, Germany and Spain.
Bradley is a country blues and ragtime singer and guitarist from Donegal, who had her breakthrough with a performance on Jools Holland's Annual Hootenanny in 2024. She released her debut album in 2023, with a remastered version in 2025. Her EP Blackwood Pew came out earlier this week.
She will tour Ireland in February, kicking off with the Source Arts Centre in Thurles on February 5. Next is Galway's Róisín Dubh followed by Dolan's in Limerick, Coughlan's Bar in Cork, Dublin's Button Factory and Belfast's Oh Yeah Music Centre.
"I got into it through my dad", Bradley told Hot Press in an interview, speaking of her affinity for country blues. Having learned to play guitar at age nine, she veered toward jiu-jitsu for some years, before returning to music during the pandemic.
Tickets to her Irish shows become available this Friday at 10 a.m. here.
