Ahead of the release of his debut solo album, Albarn revisited his Essex upbringing and 25 year career.
With Everyday Robots set to drop on April 28, Damon Albarn made a fairly rare TV appearance last night, opening up on BBC Two's Culture Show.
The Blur frontman and Gorillaz mastermind talked about his childhood, the places of his life (thankfully in a non-Partridgesque way) and the influences behind his latest work, Tanzanian elephants and all. Plus, naturally, there's music.
