Alfi to return to Ireland for run of live dates this August

Alfi have announced five upcoming shows across Ireland as they gear up to release their second album.
The album arrives three years after their summer 2023 debut, Say Old Man. Alfi's latest single 'Jack of Diamonds' was released in December 2025 which is a rendition of the American folk song, dating back to the 1800s.
The trio has reunited now that banjo player Ryan McAuley has returned to Ireland after living in Canada for the past two years.
Alongside McAuley, the trio includes harpist Alannah Thornburgh and piper Fiachra Meek. Thornburgh won Best Folk Instrumentalist at the 2025 RTE Radio 1 Folk Awards , after the release of her debut solo album Shapeshifter.
Meek joined the Pogues on their recent run of international dates, playing pipes at shows in the UK, Ireland, North America, Australia and New Zealand.
Alfi have not announced a release date for their album.
