Watch: Axl Rose Performs With AC/DC
The L.A. rocker stood in for the band's veteran singer
Axl Rose played his first gig with AC/DC in Lisbon over the weekend. The Guns N' Roses singer was asked by the Aussie rockers to fill in for their long-time frontman Brian Johnson.
The veteran AC/DC was forced to withdraw from the group's current Rock or Bust tour due to health reasons. Doctors advised Johnson that he had to stop performing live or "risk total hearing loss".
Axl arrived on stage in a wheelchair - due to a foot injury. "Nice to meet you," he shouted enthusiactically to the Portuguese audience. The new line-up ran through their hits, including 'Shoot to Thrill', 'Back in Black', 'Thunderstruck', 'Rock'n'Roll Damnation', and 'Back in Black'.
