The Riptide Movement release orchestral version of ‘All Works Out’ for 20th anniversary
The track was recorded in collaboration with the National Symphony Orchestra Ireland
The Riptide Movement have released a new orchestral version of their track ‘All Works Out’ in collaboration with the National Symphony Orchestra Ireland.
Originally released in 2014 on their third studio album Getting Through, the track immediately reached No. 1 on the Irish charts. It also featured in a Discover Ireland campaign by Tourism Ireland and on NBC's Today show, helping it gain international attention.
“‘All Works Out’ has always been a really important song for us and for everyone who has connected with the band over the years. We’ve played it hundreds of times live, but hearing it performed with the National Symphony Orchestra Ireland brought a whole new emotion to the song,” the band said.
“It feels nostalgic, cinematic and new all at once, and releasing it now feels like the perfect way to celebrate 20 years together as a band.”
The release is the first of two recordings from the band's collaboration with the orchestra. Although originally recorded in 2020, it is now receiving an official release.
Formed in 2006, The Riptide Movement have released four studio albums to date, with Ghosts remaining their most recent release. The band consists of frontman Malachy Tuohy, guitarist John Dalton, bassist Gerry McGarry and drummer Gar Byrne.
