Elsewhere, there will be an official viewing of The Corrs mural, run by Dundalk BIDS, on Longwalk Road at 2:30pm.
The County Museum in Dundalk is also due to launch a new exhibition titled All The Way Home: A Celebration of The Corrs, in an event for invited guests only.
Dundalk Siblings - Andrea, Sharon, Caroline and Jim – have sold 40 million albums since their debut 1995 Forgiven, Not Forgotten, becoming renowned for the mix of Celtic music with pop-rock.
Announcing the event in a statement, Louth County Council wrote that: “This special occasion will recognise The Corrs’ exceptional musical achievements, their international success, and the pride they have brought to their town, county and country.”
