Wanted: Fans for new SJ McArdle video
SJ McArdle is on the hunt for fans to be extras in his latest music video to be filmed in Drogheda.
It’s one way of not having to pay for actors. The Drogheda-based singer-songwriter SJ McArdle is looking for fans to appear in his new video. SJ told Hot Press that he plans to shoot a video for one of his new songs in McHugh's of Drogheda on Wednesday June 18th. He plans a "live band" set-up and he needs 150 good folks to be in the audience for the video recording.
The video is being filmed by Darren Thornton from Calipo Theatre & Picture Company, winner of the best short film award at the Berlin Film Festival (among other awards) with Frankie. The shoot will have a full crew, lighting rig, etc, etc and SJ promises it should be great craic. It’s also quite likely that he’ll sing a few songs exclusively for the audience. So you’ll get to see a free gig for your services
Those interested should contact SJ at [email protected]
They’ll need to be at McHugh’s by 7pm. The shoot will end around 11:30pm.
