Romy announces Guinness Storehouse Gig as part of new music series
The Guinness Storehouse will feature a performance by a different act each month as part of the new music series.
Romy will perform at the first iteration of SETS at the Guinness Storehouse on June 20.
The new music series will feature a different act every month, taking to the stage at the 360-degree Gravity Bar in the Guinness Storehouse.
Romy Madley Croft, who releases solo music under the name Romy, is the guitarist and lead singer in the band The xx, who won the Mercury Prize in 2010 for their self-titled debut album.
This announcement follows her solo performance at Coachella and the release of her new single ‘The One’.
Her debut solo album, Mid Air, peaked at No. 15 on the UK Albums Chart upon its release in 2023, and its hit track ‘Strong’ was nominated for Best Dance/Electronic Recording at the 66th Grammy Awards.
“I'm excited to be playing at the Guinness Storehouse in a few weeks. I can’t wait to get back to the Dublin energy and dance with everyone,” said Romy, speaking about the show.
The first edition of tickets for this 21+ event go on sale on June 11 at 12 pm via the Google Storehouse site.
Earlier this year, Fontaines DC and Lankum took to the stage at the Guinness Storehouse for an exclusive concert in aid of the Dublin 8 Community Fund.
