Want to support Interpol at The Limelight?
The Donna Legge show are offering an unsigned band the chance to open for Interpol in August
Not content with looking for new on air talent, BBC Radio 1 Northern Ireland's Donna Legge Show are offering an unsigned band the chance to open for Interpol on August 25 when they swing by the Belfast Limelight.
If you want in on the act, send a three-track demo with your preferred tune first (CD, MiniDisc, vinyl or DAT) to Interpol Support Competition, Radio 1, Ormeau Avenue, Belfast BT2 8HQ before Monday July 7.
The best 12 will then slog it out on the show which airs every Thursday from 8 to 10pm. As well as treading the Limelight boards, the winning act will also receive two days studio time at Amberville.
The competition is open to any act that hasn't had a commercial release in the past 12 months.
