Ex-Oasis man and tonight's Screamadelica guest DJ cancels due to leg injury
UPDATE: Replacement act confirmed
You can take the man out of Oasis, but you can never take Oasis out of the man!
In true rock ‘n’ roll stylee, former Oasis bassist Guigsy will not be appearing at tonight’s Screamadelica in Dublin following a particularly nasty fall down the stairs.
“Typical unpredictable Oasis-like behaviour, really,” comments Screamadelica organiser and Hot Press scribe Eamon Sweeney, “which obviously hasn’t stopped since he left the band.”
Guigsy was set to appear alongside Oasis tour DJ Phil Smith (who will still be jocking) as special guests at the Scream Team’s third birthday revelries in the Temple Bar Music Centre. “Apparently, he’s got two pins in his leg, so it sounds pretty serious,” Sweeney adds. “Maybe he was out celebrating Ireland’s victory last night.”
UPDATE: Guigsy's slot will now be filled by Belfast's Hydrophonic DJ's
