UPDATE: Trivium plan Irish tour
New wave of American Heavy Metal standard-bearers Trivium will make a crashlanding at the Ambassador when they stop off in Dublin during their tour.
Since releasing their first independent album in 2003, the Orlando, Florida outfit have signed to Roadrunner, played such major festivals as Download and Ozzfest and infiltrated the mainstream charts with their latest Shogun outing, the special edition of which includes a nifty cover of ‘Iron Maiden’.
Supporting them are Swedish thrashers The Haunted and Rise To This, a London outfit with a neat line in death grunts.
To get your dose of heavy metal, check out these gigs:
December 4- Nerve Centre, Derry
December 5- Madela Hall, Belfast
December 6- Ambassador, Dublin
December 7- The Savoy, Cork
Tickets south of the border are €31.
