Ultravox play Dublin and Belfast
As predicted in the current issue of Hot Press, the reunited Ultravox are to grace us with their presence when they play the Olympia Theatre, Dublin (May 2) and the Waterfront, Belfast (3).
Tickets go on sale on Friday January 23.
To coincide with the dates, Messrs. Ure, Cross, Cann and Currie will be releasing remastered versions of their 80s albums, and a ‘Best Of’ which will include the likes of ‘Vienna’, ‘Dancing With Tears In My Eyes’, ‘The Voice’ and ‘All Stood Still’.
It’s an opportune time for Ultravox to reform, with their doom-laden synthpop providing at least part of the inspiration for White Lies’ To Lose My Life debut.
