Toots no more for The Garden Party

POD Concerts has announced the unfortunate concellation of Toots & The Maytal's appearance at The Garden Party. Boo! But they're being replaced by another Jamaican legend: Desmond Dekker. Yay!
Toots cancelled on doctor's orders due to to his failure to recover from a knee operation. Ticket-holders of The Garden Party are not the only ones to be disappointed, the first two weeks of his European tour - which included a proposed slot supporting the Rolling Stones - are also no more.
However, Desmond Dekker and his six-piece band, The Aces, are ready to take over the headline slot. His hits include 'Isrealites' and 'You Can Get It If You Really Want'.
