The grebo revival gathers apace with The Wonder Stuff arriving in for shows at the Empire, Belfast (August 16) and the Village, Dublin (17).

Along with such time-honoured favourites as ‘Caught In My Shadow’, ‘Don’t Let Me Down, Gently’, ‘Circlesquare’ and ‘Golden Green’, the band will be plugging their current Escape From Rubbish Island album, which proves that there’s plenty of life in the old dog (on a string) yet.

Also hitting the comeback trail are ‘80s Goths The Mission who bring their Lighting The Candles tour to Dublin’s Temple Bar Music Centre on September 2.
