The Urges to release debut album
Energetic Dublin garage-punks The Urges will be having an album launch party in the capital this Friday.
Psychward will be launched to the masses at a bash in The Sugar Club on Leeson St., this Friday (26th) from 11pm. The band will also been doing a Tower Records instore earlier in the evening at 6pm.
The album was recorded in the all-analogue studio of Circo Perrotti in Gijon, Spain with Jorge Explosion (Billy Childish, The Cynics) on production duties.
Follwing their appearance in Dublin, the boys will play Belfast before embarking on a short tour of the east coast of America, where they will play with sixties legends The Sonics and The Strawberry Alarm Clock at the famed Cavestomp festival.
Entry to the launch party is €12, with a free album for the first 100 to elbow their way to the front of the queue.
