The Strypes for Later... With Jools Holland
The Cavan act will appear on the next series of the much-lauded show...
Cavan rhythm 'n' blues act The Styrpes have officially made it - they're set to perform on that most holy of musical institutions, Later... Live With Jools Holland!
The teens, who recently signed to Mercury, have been attracting lots of attention with their signature early Beatles sound, counting Paul Weller and Elton John among their fans.
Playing alongside The Strypes on Tuesday, April 9 will be Suede, Laura Mvula and Cat Power. The show, the first epipode of the 42nd (yep!) series, airs on BBC 2 at 10pm.
