The Spinto Band prepare for April shows [UPDATED: 29 March]
It may be wet outside and April doesn't bode any better but there's news to brighten your mood: the former recipients of the Hot Press single of the fortnight nod are playing a few dates round our way.
Currently riding high on the indie success of their album Nice And Nicely Done, the band from Delaware, USA, will play the following Irish dates in April:
Sat 15: Cork, Cyprus Ave
Sun 16: Dublin, Whelan's (Bud Rising)
Mon 17: Limerick, Dolan's
Tue 18: Belfast, The Limelight (**cancelled**)
Support for the dates will be amply supplied by London band Switches and Dublin's own Director, who release their debut single 'Reconnect' on April 21.
The Malahide men are also taking to the road beforehand for a few dates of The Blizzards' Irish tour. These April shows are:
Sun 9: Mullingar, Greville Arms
Mon 10: Waterford, Forum
Thurs 13: Sligo, The Left Bank
Sun 23: Galway, Roisin Dubh
