The Specials reschedule Marquee show
The band's Cork performance is pushed back a day to June 11.
The Specials have rescheduled their June 10 performance at The Marquee in Cork to the following night, June 11. With songs like 'Ghost Town' that railed against the Thatcher government, the English ska band showed punk fans that they've still got it with a 30th anniversary tour in 2009. Jerry Dammers is absent, but Terry Hall, Neville Staple and Lynyal Golding sing old favorites about social unrest and downtrodden times that resonate as strongly as ever.
Tickets go on sale Friday at 9am, are priced at €49.50, €39 and €33 (including booking fee) and will be available from [link]www.ticketmaster.ie.[/link].
