The Sleeping Years sign French record deal
Coleraine indie-rockers have signed an exciting new record deal with a French indie label.
Hotpress faves The Sleeping Years have inked a deal with Talitres Records, the French independent that also has The Walkmen, The Wedding Present, The Organ, iLiKETRAiNS and The National on its domestic roster.
The partnership is christened next month by Clocks And Clones, a 5-track EP limited to 750 CD copies and housed in a handmade sleeve. Its equally collectible predecessors – You And Me Against The World and Setting Fire To Sleepy Towns – are currently available from Emusic, with iTunes, Amazon, Napster etc. getting in on the act shortly.
If you missed our recent Headline Act with The Sleeping Years, they’re fronted by Dale Grundle who earned his stripes with Portstewart outfit Catchers.
