The band will be performing live tracks from new EP Rescue Room to coincide with its release last week.
Dublin band The Shoos will be performing live tracks from their EP Rescue Room at HMV, Grafton Street on Thursday April 14 at 6pm to coincide with the EP's release last week.
Since the launch of their single 'Distance' in May of last year, which reached No. 1 on the physical singles chart and led to a major deal with Universal Music Ireland, the band has had a busy year making a name for themselves Stateside, with a recording stint in LA with producer Warren Huart (The Fray), a headliner show at Hollywood's Viper Room, a tour with One republic and invites to open for Maroon 5, Lifehouse and Taylor Hawkins (Foo Fighters).
The EP release also sees the band embark on a nationwide tour that includes gigs in Whelans, Dublin; Galway; Thurles.
"We are delighted to welcome The Shoos to HMV Grafton St. for the release of their debut EP Rescue Room. The band has had an exciting year and is fast becoming one of the most talked about acts around. The Shoos already have a strong fan base so we're expecting a good turnout for the live performance. Fans will also have an opportunity to pick up a signed copy of the EP," enthuses Gary Roche, HMV Grafton Street store manager.
