The Minnows announce Dublin gig
The legendary Belfast popsters are playing Bewley's Café Theatre.
The Minnows, who had a ‘Tiberius’ in front of their name during the ‘90s, make a rare foray south of the border on July 4 to play Bewley’s Café Theatre in Grafton Street. Tickets are €15.
The Norn Iron outfit, who persuaded Terri Hooley to reactivate his Good Vibrations label, will be playing tunes from their Paddy McAloon-ish Leonard Cohen’s Happy Compared To Me album.
Ask nicely and they might also give an airing to ‘Time Flies’, their seminal single which was brought to HP’s attention back in the day by the wonderful Uaneen Fitzsimons.
