The La's announce extra Irish dates
The La's have added Cork and Belfast onto their comeback trail this June
Recently reformed Liverpudlians The La's have announced headline dates in Cork and Belfast this June.
With their one self-titled debut of 1990, The La's are said to have left a lasting influence on British pop music, with their song 'There She Goes' often cited as their finest achievement.
The band, which today comprises Lee Mavers, John Power, Jay Lewis and Nick Miniski, are now said to be working on a new album and have reportedly sold out their UK tour dates in July.
See how they fare in Ireland when they play Cork's Savoy Theatre on June 6, Dublin's Ambassador Theatre on June 7 (BudRising) and the Mandela Hall, Belfast on June 9.
Tickets priced form €22.50 (Cork), £22.50 (Belfast) and €27.50 (Dublin) are on sale now from the usual outlets nationwide.
