The Fairyhouse rules
Following a period during which they were rumoured to be playing Slane, Coldplay are revealed to be Witnness 2003's Saturday night headliners. A hotpress.com exclusive
Hot Press has learned that Coldplay are about to be unveiled as the Saturday night headliners at Witnness which takes place on July 12 and 13.
The band had been mooted for Slane, but appear to have settled for the more intimate confines of the Fairyhouse Main Stage.
Meanwhile, there was more encore tomfoolery last week when fans in Oklahoma were treated to solo Chris Martin renditions of The Flaming Lips' 'Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots' and Justin Timberlake's 'Like I Love You'. Their current US dates have also found them debuting two new songs 'Moses' and 'A Ladder To The Soul'.
