The Devlins play St. Patrick's Day festivities in the US
The Devlins have been assigned with official soundtracking duties for St. Patrick's Day celebrations in Chicago and Philadelphia
Good news from the States where two of the countries most influential radio stations, WXRT Chicago and WXPN Philadelphia, have picked up on The Devlins' 'Careless Love' single and asked them to perform at their respective St. Patrick's Day bashes.
In addition, the band have a track on the Golden Globe winning Closer, and a new Warner Brothers series called Jack & Bobby which TV3 are screening later in the year.
Also feeling rather chuffed with themselves this week are Blink who've returned from MIDEM with an assortment of European, Australian, Brazilian, Japanese and Taiwanese licensing deals for their Deep Inside The Sound Of Sadness album. They're also close to arranging an American release, which would see them crossing the Atlantic for a rigorous bout of gigging.
