The Cranberries confirm comeback shows
The reunion kicks off in November in Baltimore – Maryland, not County Cork!
The Cranberries have announced the first leg of their comeback tour, which kicks off on November 12 in Baltimore’s Ram’s Head and then takes in Orpheum, Boston (13); Casino Ballroom, Hampton Beach (14); Count Basie Theater, Red Bank (16); Electric Factory, Philadelphia (17); Nokia Theatre, New York (18); Queen Elizabeth Theatre, Toronto (20 & 21); Olympia, Montreal (22); Filmore, Detroit (24); Riviera, Chicago (25); Riverside Theater, Milwaulkee (27); First Avenue, Minneapolis (28); Midland Theater, Kansas City (29); Gothic Theater, Denver (December 1); The Pearl, Las Vegas (3); Club Nokia, Los Angeles (4); Regency Ballroom, San Francisco (5); and Moore Theater, Seattle (7).
The 19-date trek is being sponsored by Guesstimation, a trivia game that’s giving Trivial Pursuit a run for its money in North America.
Up in Dublin for this weekend’s Music Show, guitarist Noel Hogan said, “We’re going to rehearse in a couple of weeks time in Limerick, and then kick things off in Baltimore. The closer it gets, the more excited I am! We’re going to have most of our old road crew with us, so it feels really comfortable.”
Expect an Irish date or two in the New Year.
