The brothers' grim fairytale
Oasis band members and entourage are badly beaten by unnamed youths in Munich
Oasis' Liam Gallagher has sustained facial injuries, including several broken teeth, after an incident at a club in Munich, Germany, on Saturday night.
Oasis, who are currently touring across Europe, had sold out their December 1 date in Munich (the following night) but were forced to cancel.
According to a statement on the band's official website, several members of Oasis and their entourage were the victims of an unprovoked attack by a group of youths. Two of the band's security guards received hospital treatment, one having been knocked unconscious. The attackers fled the scene before police arrived.
Several of the party, including Liam, were questioned by police, but were later released. Enquiries are continuing into the incident.
As a result, the Munich gig last night and tonight's (December 2) Hamburg show have both been postponed.
