The Beta Band bring farewell tour to Ireland

The Beta Band say "goodbye cruel rock world" when they play the Ambassador, Dublin (December 12) and Mandela Hall, Belfast (13).

Despite scoring their first top 20 hit with May's Heroes To Zeroes album, the English eccentrics have decided to go their own separate ways.

Reads an official band communiqué: "The Beta Band apple has over-ripened and become riddled with maggots, it must fall from the tree and let its seeds return to the ground."
