The 4 Of Us set for special acoustic show
Brendan and Declan Murphy will play an intimate set for fans at Whelan’s this Friday August 12.
The Newry band were recently voted one of Ireland’s Top 10 bands of all time alongside the likes of Thin Lizzy and U2 in a recent TV3 series. Their 1989 mega-hit ‘Mary’ still does the rounds on Irish radio to this day and featured on Playstation game SingStar.
The Murphy brothers are the only original members of the four-piece since their foundation in 1989. They wowed audiences with their recent acoustic tours in Ireland and Germany. Have a look at one of their renditions of ‘Mary’ at Cypress Avenue, Cork in 2009.
Tickets are €16 from Whelanslive.com or WAV tickets.
