Television announce return to Ireland
New Wave legends Television make a long overdue return to the Dublin Village on June 25
Graduates of the same NYC club scene as Talking Heads, Blondie and The Ramones, the band's struck gold at the first time of asking with 1977's Marquee Moon. We're not saying they've ripped 'em off or anything but we bet you a penny to a pound that you'll find a copy in The Strokes' record collection!
Meanwhile, Tom Verlaine & Co's Talking Heads mate, David Byrne, arrives in on July 27 for a Tosca Strings-assisted show in the Olympia. As well as running through a few old faves, he'll be plugging his newly released Grown Backwards album.
