Taylor Swift reaches one billion views in record time

Another day, another example of how this really is The Summer Of The Swift. Having taken on the might of Apple and won, securing royalties for her fellow artists in the process, and turned in two spectacular shows in Dublin's 3Arena, this week Taylor Swift breaks another record.
VEVO has just confirmed that her promo for 'Blank Space' (directed by Joseph Kahn) has become the fastest clip to reach one billion views on the site. It did so in just eight months, and joins Psy's 'Gangnam Sty'e and Justin Bieber's 'Baby' in the One Billion Club.
T Swift expressed her gratitude to the fans on Twitter, nice person that she is.
