Submissions welcome for Whelan's Trad & Folk Fest this September
Kila, I Draw Slow, Kern and Jiggy are all taking part in the three day event between September 1-3.
Whelan’s Trad and Folk Festival, in association with Smithwick’s Irish Ales, will showcase the best quality Irish music, and you can expect some of Ireland's most loved acts alongside some of Ireland's brightest hopes. The entire festival is free entry and will bring together over 30 acts across 3 stages in Whelan's.
The festival is asking trad & folk groups to submit their music - free of charge - for a chance to play on one of the three stages.
