Radiohead announce live dates for the fist time in seven years
After a wave of speculation from fans, Radiohead have announced a run of tour dates for the first time in 7 years.
Radiohead have announced 20 performances across Europe with shows in Madrid, Bologna, London, Copenhagen and Berlin. See the full list of dates below.
Rumours have been circulating amongst fans after the band left major clues about the run of shows, including promotional flyers for now-announced gigs found around cities.
The group's most recent live performance was at the Wells Fargo Centre in Philadelphia on August 1, 2018.
“Last year, we got together to rehearse, just for the hell of it. After a seven year pause, it felt really good to play the songs again and reconnect with a musical identity that has become lodged deep inside all five of us," said Radiohead's drummer Philip Selway.
"It also made us want to play some shows together, so we hope you can make it to one of the upcoming dates."
As of now, the band has no further tour dates planned, however, Selway said that that is subject to change.
In addition to the gigs, the group have announced that they will release physical versions of their digitally released the live album Hail to the Thief (Live Recordings 2003-2009); which debuted in August. They are set to come out on Friday, October 31.
Tickets for the Madrid, Bologna, London, Copenhagen and Berlin performances will only be available by registering here.
Registration opens Friday, September 5 and closes on Sunday, September 7. Ticket sales begin on Friday, September, 12
