Damien Dempsey announces six nights at Vicar Street for December

Damien Dempsey has announced a run of six shows at Dublin's Vicar Street this December.

The gigs are set for December 16, 17, 19, 20, 22 and 23. They will follow performances in Cork on December 5 and 6, Limerick on the 12 and Galway on the 13.

The Dublin singer-songwriter is set to play with the National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland at the Tradition Now festival later this month.

Dempsey graced a Christmastime cover of Hot Press last year. His most recent album, Hold Your Joy, was rated nine out of ten by Hot Press.

Tickets go on sale on Friday, September 5 at 10:00 a.m. via Ticketmaster.
