Stephen Stills to play Vicar Street
Renowned musician Stephen Stills has announced a Vicar Street gig on October 22.
Stephen Stills, the legendary guitarist, singer and songwriter is to play Vicar Street on October 22. Stills is probably best known as a quarter of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young.
Stephen Stills has been an influential figure in music over the past five decades, through his four bands and solo work. He remains the only artist ever to be inducted twice in the same night into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for The Buffalo Springfield and Crosby, Stills & Nash. Stills has also drummed up quite the status as a guitarist, ranked number 28 on Rolling Stone’s list of the 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time.
While Stills remains active as a group member, his latest solo release was in 2007. A long lost recording of his early, now world famous, material Just Roll Tape – April 26th 1968.
Tickets for the Dublin gig will go on-sale on Monday, June 9, cost €44.20 and are available from usual outlets.
