Stand announce homecoming tour
Stand escape the New York humidity to play a series of summer dates around Ireland
Ex-pat Dubliners Stand have announced several gigs around Ireland in support of their new album.
The band, now based in New York, have already earned themselves a serious reputation as a live band stateside and boast such celebrity fans as David Bowie, Moby and Winona Ryder.
Their latest album, In A Happy Place, has been firmly positioned in the top 10 US alternative charts since its March release and now Stand are hoping to emulate their success on home turf. You can catch them playing the following venues around Ireland:
June 23 @ South Dublin Arts Festival, Lucan
June 25 @ Solas, Drogheda
July 2 @ Cuba, Galway
July 3 @ Kilkee Winkle Weekend, Co. Clare
July 9 @ The Stables, Mullingar
July 10 @ The Half Moon Club, Cork
July 16 @ Vicar Street, Dublin
Ticket prices range from €5 to €21, depending on the venue.
