Spanish single from Garrett Wall
The Madrid-based Garrett Wall Band release their new single – a duet with Spanish singer Lua – in Ireland this month.
The Garrett Wall Band, an acoustic four piece fronted by the Irish singer, are releasing their new single, ‘Is There No Freedom?’ in Ireland, the UK and Spain.
It’s a duet with well known Spanish singer Lua, daughter of the renowned Miguel Ríos, and singer with the group We Are Balboa.
The GWB are based in Madrid, and have been invited to perform at the International Darvel Music Festival in Scotland in May. They will also be joining Kila for a concert during the Irish-based tradsters’ upcoming tour of Spain. They share the same label in the USA as Cork band Fred. Their debut album Sky Pointing will shortly be released Stateside, and their sophomore album Hands & Imperfections is close to completion, having been produced with Josh Tampico.
The new single is already receiving airplay in Spain. It’s now available at the band's live shows and on the website of their label, www.mondegreenrecords.com, and will shortly be released digitally in Spain, Ireland and the UK.
